Vayn Sunderfey is a descendant of a long line of noble gnome mages, wizards and the odd warlock once in a while. Cunning, devious, sly, charming, manipulative, plotting, well-spirited, stands himself closest, trusts no one. If he stands between the choice of loot or moral, then loot would be highest on his list. Fond of spells. Old student at the tower of magic in the feywild, easily bored; That’s why he was kicked out, too restless, but very bright. Always feels that he was never really given the chance to shine through. He and his family had been in a struggle with another family of gnomes. He did not arrive on faerun voluntarily. His clan had arranged a portal to the clan they had been warring for so long, but the gnome setting the portal up had been a traitor so instead they wound up in the nine hells. Vayn had to watch most of his comrades get ripped to pieces by demons. He especially mourns the loss of one of his pals, Gill Dubble. He lost his dragonbone-wand “Splintercore” which had been an heirloom passing from gnome to gnome in his family, with Gill as well. He was the only one who escaped that horrible place in one piece. He got to Faerun though he doesn’t recall how he got out of the nine hells. There he met Ulrich, Dr. Blitzmann, Enoch, Dravel and that woodthing. He longs to be able to get back to the feywilds.
Dressed in borwn leather garbs, sparkly eyes(not gay just on the outlook for shinies), making sure that he looks good all the time, kinda selfpreoccpuied. Womanizer, charlatan. Round, confortable, face, short ears, (for a gnome) curly hair. Hazel eyes, that turn red when he casts. Learned to bluff at the school by always, making up poor excuses for being late, weaving tales of what happened on his way to class. Bluffing through the entire 1. semester. Always failed history, but he shone in practical magic practitioning and ritualcompletion.
